Shimla - Manali By Road

The best way to explore Shimla and Manali is by road from Delhi or Chandigarh. One can also take flight to Chandigarh and drive down to Shimla. Shimla was decleared summer capital of British India in 1864. An agreement was signed by India and Pakistan on 2 July 1972 in Shimla after war of 1971 and is known as Shimla Pact. Shimla and Manali are the paradise for adventure sports lovers. 

Day 1     Delhi/Shimla - Drive 330Kms/09Hrs
Upon arrival Delhi or Chandigarh, you will be driving to Shimla. Shimla is 110 Kms/3.5Hrs from Chandigarh.
You will enjoy the drive through scenic beauty of cedar capped mountains from Kalka. 
Upon arrival Shimla, chek into the hotel. 
Evening you may relax or explore the mall road by your own. 
Overnight at hotel. 

Day 2     Excursion to kufri
After breakfast full days sightseeeing of Shimla including excursioin to Kufri. 
Evening at leaisure for shopping. 
Overnight at hotel. 

Day 3     Shimla/Manali - Drive 270Kms/09Hrs
After breakfast, check-out hotel and drive to Manali.
Manali is paradise for adventure sports and trekking. En- route visit Hanogi Mata Temple. 
Upon arrival Manali, check into the hotel.
Ovrnight at hotel. 

Day 4     Excursion to Rohtang Pass
Breakfast at the hotel. 
After breakfast excursion to Rohtan pass (subject to open) and solang nala valley.
Overnight at hotel. 

Day 5     Manali 
Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning sightseeing of old Manali and Hadimba temple. 
Afternoon at leisure. 
Overnight at hotel. 

Day 6     Manali/Chandigarh - Drive 325Kms/08Hrs
After breakfast check-out from the hotel and drive to Chandigarh.
Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel. 
Evening at your leisure. 
Overnight at hotel.

Day 7     Chandigarh/Delhi - Drive 250Kms/05Hrs
After breakfast, drive to Delhi. 
Upon arrival Delhi, you will be transferred to Airport/Railway station for your onward journey.
